Rainy season parties in Bali: the honest plan

Bali has a rainy season, not rainy days. Here is how the rain actually behaves, what hour to pick, and what a marquee does and does not solve.

The short answer

Bali's rainy season runs roughly November to March. The rain typically arrives hard in the afternoon and passes within an hour rather than lasting all day. For a party in that season, a late-morning or a 4pm start avoids the most common downpour window, and — where the space and the venue allow one — a covered marquee takes most of the worry out of it.

How the rain actually behaves

It is not London. A wet-season day in Bali is usually sunny with an intense burst of rain in it — often mid-afternoon, often over inside an hour. Planning around it means picking your hour, not cancelling your plans.

What we do about it

  • We tell you the best hour for your specific date, from thirteen years of watching this.
  • The setup is kept weather-ready — nothing on the quote is destroyed by a shower.
  • A covered marquee can be added where the space and the venue allow one.
  • Villas with a covered terrace get used properly: we plan the layout so the key pieces sit near cover if a squall comes through.

What we do not promise

We do not offer a free reschedule, and we will not pretend otherwise. Our team, our suppliers and your cake are all committed on the date you booked. What we offer instead is honest planning — the right hour, weather-ready decor, and a marquee if you want certainty. Any company promising a free date change in wet season is either not paying its team, or has not thought it through.

Four things we put in writing

The risk is ours, not yours.

You are sending money to strangers on an island you may never have set foot on. We know exactly how that feels. So we built it so you never have to trust us blindly.

All inclusions, no surprises

What is on the quote is what turns up. If a booked item is genuinely missing on the day, we refund the price of that item. We have done this more than 15,600 times.

You never pay it all up front

50% holds your date. The balance is paid the day before the party, once the decor is standing and you have seen it with your own eyes.

We take away everything we brought

Decor, equipment, balloons and the party rubbish that comes with them — bagged and gone before we leave. We are not a cleaning company, so floors and dishes stay with your villa's housekeeping. But nothing of ours is left behind, and no mess of ours is left for you.

A registered company, not a DM

PT Perencana Pesta Impian — a real Indonesian company with thirteen years of experience behind it. Look us up before you send a single rupiah.

Tell us what they love.
We build the rest.

One message is enough. We answer within about ten minutes, in Bali daytime.
